I’m a baker first and a cook second. I grew up with flour and butter, and will always feel more comfortable working with them than meat and vegetables. The great thing about a quiche is that satisfies my inner baker while helping my inner cook make dinner! It does take time, since you need to make the crust, but it’s definitely worth it. A Quick & Easy Breakfast Sandwich
I am not a morning person by any stretch of the imagination, so anything that is quick and/or easy in the morning is my friend. After picking up many breakfast sandwiches because I was running late, I decided to make my own quick and easy version at home. I like to use bagels (because I love bagels) but it works just as well with any type of toast. Enjoy!

Onion and Goat Cheese Frittata
I thought that it’d be fitting to end 2013 with a savory breakfasty recipe, perfect for international hangover day, also known as January 1st. This recipe is great for any meal of the day, and leftovers hold up very well. I made it for dinner the other night with a side of these Tangy Lemon Dijon Green Beans, which went really well together.
