Kale, Feta & Quinoa Salad
Spring has sprung and so had salad season! Well, not that salad has a season, but I find that when Spring comes I’m just more excited about vegetables and salads (as excited as I can be about them, salads have nothing on cookies). Baked Chicken Shawarma
I love Middle Eastern food! Give me falafel, shawarma, hummus, anything, and I’m a very happy camper. While lots of the side dishes can be made at home, many of my favourites require frying or special equipment, so I was very excited when I came across this recipe. I kept it simple and put hummus, cucumbers, and tomatoes in a multigrain pita with the shawarma, but you can throw in anything. Hope you enjoy! Continue reading

Onion and Goat Cheese Frittata
I thought that it’d be fitting to end 2013 with a savory breakfasty recipe, perfect for international hangover day, also known as January 1st. This recipe is great for any meal of the day, and leftovers hold up very well. I made it for dinner the other night with a side of these Tangy Lemon Dijon Green Beans, which went really well together.
