Aromatics are the building blocks of most dishes and there are so many unique yet specific ones around the globe for each culture and their respective cuisines. As I’ve said before, I’m not great with vegetables, so I’m always trying new dishes in hopes that that way will make me want more of that vegetable. I discovered fried cauliflower with tahina and loved it, so when I found this recipe for a baked version I was really excited. It’s super simple but really delicious, hope you enjoy!
I love Middle Eastern food! Give me falafel, shawarma, hummus, anything, and I’m a very happy camper. While lots of the side dishes can be made at home, many of my favourites require frying or special equipment, so I was very excited when I came across this recipe. I kept it simple and put hummus, cucumbers, and tomatoes in a multigrain pita with the shawarma, but you can throw in anything. Hope you enjoy! Continue reading
